The Westbury Hotel in Dublin, Ireland

When things don’t go as planned, sometimes it ends up being better than what was originally imagined! The original shooting location for this dress was an abandoned Abbey and although it was incredible, it was not the location we ended up wanting for this dress.

We showed up to our hotel in Dublin, The Westbury, and right away we knew this was the perfect location for this dress! This was one of the most stunning hotels I had ever stayed at! The black iron and green ivy contrasted this dress so perfectly!  The other location we shot this dress at was very nature-filled so I love that we also got to shoot this dress in a more cosmopolitan setting!

We chose to Riviera gown for this shoot because, well, look at it! The Riviera gown is from our Lily Rose Collection and it is everything and more. We shot this dress earlier in the week at Mullaghmore Head, an beautiful beach with the most earthy feel. I love how this dress can be worn at any location. It is versatile, classic, and down right beautiful!!

These shots are some of my favorite from the shoot because although its glamorous, it is also effortless and that is my favorite combo! The bellmen from this hotel came up to us as we were taking pictures and said, “take photos of her on the steps!” So, we did, and they ended up being some of our favorite photos from the entire trip!

 

Ross Errilly Friary in County Galway, Ireland

We just couldn’t help ourselves…we had to shoot another dress in this magical place! I mean, for good reason!  Originally, we had only planned on shooting our Catalina dress here but because the friary was so large and we were so mesmerized with this location, we had to photograph another look!

This gorgeous wedding dress is the Stratton gown from the Lily Rose Collection. It is beautiful, sweet, and soft. The tulle in the skirt flows and moves so beautifully!

We paired this look with a pearl cape from Sara Gabriel and I think it just completed this look! This cape was shorter than the other ones that we brought with us on this trip and it clasped in the back giving more coverage to the front of the wedding dress!

Our photographer, Morgan, said this next shot looked like a perfume commercial and she could not be more right.

This cape from Sara Gabriel Veils is made from the softest tulle and featured a scattering of pearls that were more heavily focused at toward the top!  I love how all the lace details of the wedding dress still come through!

As we were walking out of the friary, we saw the most charming field of cows and couldn’t resist taking a picture in front of them!

I get chills every time I even think of this friary. I can not even explain how incredible this was. Built in 1310 it was in use until 1832!

We walked into this huge friary on a cold morning in Ireland and we were all just speechless. We were the only ones there and we just took some time to explore before we started taking pictures.

I felt like a kid again. We walked through this place, ducked under doorways, admired the windows and coves and could just imagine and picture the people that were there before us. It was so surreal.

Our Catalina dress is a Mikado ballgown with a plunging neckline and spaghetti straps.  My favorite part about this wedding dress is the double bands at the waist that are beaded with a beautiful mix of crystals and pearls!  It’s the perfect delicate touch!  Catalina also features a scooped, low back.

We chose the Catalina wedding dress from our Lily Rose Collection and it could not have been a better fit. It was elegant and ethereal and that was just the look we were going for. We chose to pair these incredible wings from Sara Gabriel with it and obsessed is an understatement. They blew in the wind with a mind of their own and we adore them!

We were very careful to be respectful of our surroundings!  These pictures instantly transport me back to the time the four of us spent in this place!

I go back and forth on what my favorite location was and this is really close to first place. The beauty of this place was absolutely overwhelming. I will never forget this place and how at peace it made me feel!

 

Galway in Ireland

Galway Girl by Ed Sheeran was playing in my head this entire shoot! This place was everything I hoped it would be! The cutest little boutiques, adorable coffee shops, and pubs surrounded this wonderful place. I love how colorful and lively Galway is. There were people playing music all through the streets. There is a joy to Galway and I am so glad I got to experience it.

We chose the Camden gown for this shoot from our Lily Rose Collection and it could not have been a more perfect fit! This dress is soft and sweet, with a touch of boho!

I love this gown paired with a jean jacket. Put your new last name on the back of that jacket and you are set for some sweet wedding photos!

 

Menlo Castle in County Galway, Ireland

Whimsical, mystical, bohemian, flower child…all of these words perfectly describe this wedding look! We traveled out to Menlo Castle and it was everything we dreamed it would be. Ivy was crawling up this castle and it was absolutely breathtaking. What was once a castle to the Blake Family in the 16th century is now beautiful ruins sitting along side a river in Galway.

The Camden gown was the perfect choice for this location. This gown is part of our Lily Rose Collection and it is absolutely stunning! If you want a dress to showcase your waistline, this is the dress for you. Gorgeous lace detail is perfectly placed to give it such a boho feel. Wild flowers were braided into the hair to show just how whimsical this look can really be!

Something that surprised us about Ireland was how accessible almost all of the ruins are.  It’s almost as if you’re encouraged to walk around the grounds and explore the ruins.  So amazing!

An abandoned mansion in the middle of the woods…hmm..all of my scary movie watching days were coming back to me! When we stumbled upon this mansion, the sun was shining on it so beautifully and there was such a peace to it. This home was literally smack dab in the center of the woods! It was breathtaking! The inside of this home was covered in ivy and it was so beautiful. You could see the floor plan of this home, where the fireplace was, where the bedrooms would have been and it is something I will never forget.

The Catalina gown from our Lily Rose Collection was the absolute best choice for this location! This cape from Sara Gabriel gave it the ethereal look we were going for! This gorgeous ballgown showcases the waistline so beautifully and has the most stunning plunging neckline!

The woods surrounding this house had some of the tallest trees I had ever seen! It seriously felt like we were in the most whimsical forest ever!

 

Westport, Ireland

Our evening in Westport was spent walking through shops, eating the best Italian food to ever exist, and finishing our night off with a latte and some gelato! Perfect day, right?! The sun was setting so beautifully for our shoot! As we walked around Westport, I couldn’t help but feel like I was in Amsterdam on the set of “The Fault in Our Stars” movie. If you have not watched that movie- its a must!!

The Stratton gown was so beautiful walking through the streets of Westport! This dress is from The Lily Rose Collection and we just adore it! A pearl bow added the perfect amount of sweetness to this bridal look!

Another Irish city filled with music, laughter and so much joy!

Gleniff Horseshoe Drive in County Sligo, Ireland

Gleniff Horseshoe Drive is simply this 6km drive in the Northwestern part of Ireland.  There are no signs to it and it’s definitely not a tourist attraction!  The whole reason you visit this spot is the amazing scenery!

We pulled up to the most dreamy (and maybe a bit spooky) low hanging clouds!

Honestly, when we planned to go to this location, I didn’t think it would be this amazing. However, it quickly became my favorite location of our entire trip!

Our Camden wedding dress has the most unique lace scattered throughout the dress!  It has the daintiest lace straps and features a banded waist similar to a few other styles in the collection!  The 3 lace bands in the soft ballgown skirt mimic the banding at the waist.  We call this a soft ballgown wedding dress but you could also call it an aline!

The clouds made this place look so magical! To the left of these photos was a stunning waterfall and woods that looked like a fairy garden! Do you remember reading the book Tuck Everlasting in school? The woods at this location gave me total Tuck Everlasting vibes.

We chose to style the Camden gown, from our Lily Rose Collection, with an adorable hat that we thought fit perfectly with this look! The Camden gown is the perfect mix of sweet and boho. We couldn’t love it more!

Mullaghmore Head in County Sligo, Ireland

This location was the definition of serene. It was calm, peaceful, and beautiful. There was a castle off in the distance, dolphins swimming around, and the most amazing ocean view.

Mullagmore Head is a small fishing village in Northern Ireland. Seriously, how is this real life?! We got to this location early in the morning and there was the most perfect cool breeze and a couple of locals out walking their dogs, just enjoying the view.

This dress is the Riviera gown from our Lily Rose Collection. It might just be my favorite dress in our whole store! It is so unique, classic, and stunning! There is stunning lace detail that trails down the arms of this dress. The plunging neckline is the perfect amount of plunge and the train just speaks for itself!

I absolutely adore how this dress pops on the vibrant green grass! I love how this location shows the versatility of wearing this dress in more of an earthy way.  Part of our goal with this lookbook was to show how the same dress could be styled differently.  Just because a wedding dress has a more formal feeling on the hanger doesn’t mean that’s how you have to wear it!

 

Dunlewey Church in County Donegal, Ireland

Featuring the Essex gown

Our next location was Dunlewey Church. It is an abandoned church that is surrounded by the most incredible views.  It is located in a valley surrounded by mountains and right next to a lake in County Donegal! It had such a mystical appearance.

Our drive down the hill to this church was surrounded by adorable little homes. I could not believe how stunning this church was! The view, the arches, the tall windows- everything was just breathtaking! It still just amazes me that Ireland was covered with incredible scenery and amazing places, and that is just normal life to the people who live there!

I could not decide what view I liked more. The church or the field outside of it. This little field outside of the church was so stunning! The purple flowers gave it such a whimsical feel. I love how it overlooked the lake and the mountains!

Essex, from our Lily Rose Collection, was the dress chosen for this location and we paired it with our adorable lace bomber jacket to give it a little edge. How cute is this jacket? It has lace, pearls, and sequins all over it. I mean, could it get any better than that?

Essex features a very structured, full skirt and I loved the juxtaposition of the fitted bodice against the fullness of the skirt!
