This was our first shooting location and it exceeded every expectation that I had about Ireland! It was so breathtaking and so beautiful! The Giant’s Causeway is a very popular spot in Ireland and it’s very obvious why! There were two little girls that noticed us take photos and they came up to us when we were done taking the pictures and asked to get a picture because they thought I was a princess! It was one of the sweetest things ever!

This is the gown 1147 from Martina Liana and it is so beyond breathtaking! The sleeves are the greatest accessory ever!! This dress can come without the sleeves and it is just as stunning. If you want a dress that is different, unique, and stands out- this is the dress for you! I love how the lace is patterned to give such dimension and depth to the dress!

Okay, if any of you know me, you know that water and heights are not my thing (I’m not the most adventurous type, obviously). However, I pushed through because I knew this location was going to be 100% worth it. And let me tell you, it was. We walked down one too many steps along a mountainside to get to this castle that projected out to the sea. It was, quite honestly, one of the most breathtaking things I have ever seen in my life.

We chose the Collins gown from our Lily Rose Collection for this location and I think it fit just perfectly. The movement of the skirt accompanied by the delicate lace bodice gave us just the look we were dreaming of. The skirt danced and moved so beautifully as the wind blew!

The cutest bow ever topped off this bridal look! Will bridal bows be the new thing? If I have anything to do with it, YES! How cute would this bow look for your bridal shower, bachelorette party, rehearsal dinner, wedding reception…the list could go on forever!

I was finally able to live out all of my childhood princess dreams! In Ireland, we visited Lough Eske Castle. It was an absolutely incredible and beautiful castle. From the grand entrance to the flower garden, it was all a dream! I knew that the pictures here would be stunning, but I did not realize how stunning they would be! There is such a magical feel to these photos and we could not love them more!

When picking what dress we wanted to use for this location, we obviously wanted that royal and princess feel. We chose our Essex gown from our Lily Rose Collection! It could not have been a more perfect fit! We chose this amazing cowl-cape from Sara Gabriel that totally completed this look. It brushes off the shoulder so beautifully while still showcasing the back of the dress. So perfect, right?

The Dark Hedges is a place that I will never forget. A family planted these trees in the eighteenth century along the drive to their home so that the visitors would be impressed as they drove toward their mansion. Let me tell you, I was certainly impressed! If you watch Game of Thrones you might recognize this road as The King’s Road!

There was such a magical and whimsical feel. A slight mist accompanied by the perfect amount of wind gave this dress the dance it needed.  We arrived around 9am and while there were a few other groups (and a lot of cows) there, we had the road mostly to ourselves!

We contacted our veil and accessory maker, Sara Gabriel, and we asked if she’d be able to create a custom cape for our trip. They went above and beyond (as always) and created 4 of the most outstanding custom pieces- which you will see in following posts! This cape was just incredible! It is a gorgeous tulle scattered with pearls, sequins, and rhinestones. Capes are on the rise and they are going to be big! If you are considering wearing a veil, but just aren’t sure, this might be the perfect option for you. OR if you just want to do something unique, this is a perfect accessory for you!

Going Green

Essense of Australia, Lily Rose

 

Okay, my current obsession is a deep green wedding vibe. Could anything be more beautiful?! It is different, unique, regal, elegant, earthy…I just love it!

Here are a few of my favorite inspiration pictures for these green tones. These photos are from our #onefinedaybrides and a styled shoot with Kiara Tuttle Photography. How amazing are these? These dark hues make your wedding dress absolutely pop!

 

A beautiful and inexpensive way to bring in the rich green tones to you wedding day is with this amazing fabric runner! I am loving this! Also, the green candles are a must have. I love the way the gold accent looks with the deep green tone.

 

Another way to bring in these green tones is to add it into your bridal party! I am dying over this velvet suit and satin bridesmaid gown. Going bold with these looks and adding in a simple white boutique would be absolutely stunning! Another way to bring in this beautiful color is to make your maid of honor stand out! Having her wear this amazing green gown would be breathtaking!

 

 

I love the look of a lace gown with the deep tones of the wedding, and this Essense of Australia gown would look absolutely perfect! I also ADORE this Lily Rose Collection gown for the regal look of a deep green wedding.
